Read to Feed is a unique and global program of rewarding philanthropy in the United States, China, Hong Kong, South Africa, Poland, Lithuania, and Tanzania. Children and students read books to raise money. The project aims to develop the public awareness in children of reading and public poverty alleviation work and the organic integration of public welfare activities to help others by encouraging a child to read and parent-child reading. By cultivating children's reading interest and ability at the same time, it raises money for poor areas farmers family, to help the social difficult groups.
The operation mode of "Read to Feed" :
In order to make more people fall in love with the public good, Ms. Song Qinyi, director of Shanghai Totrend Investment Group, as the vice-chairman of the Calf Charity Institution, upholds the mission of eliminating poverty and caring for the earth and promotes the Read to Feed project. Ms. Song Qinyi participated in the closing ceremony of the "Read to Feed" activity at the Pudong Campus of Shanghai British School and a fundraising speech by the International Department of Shanghai Middle School. Every time the children read an extra book, the "Haihui Heifer" has an extra donation to help more people in need.
