1. Basic information of project site:
Huangyingling Village, located in Hebazi Town, Qingshen County, Meishan City, Sichuan Province, 20 kilometers away from the county seat, is a provincial poverty village (2012). There are 516 households in Huangyingling Village. The main ethnic group is Han. Huangyingling Village belongs to the mountainous and hilly area. The per capita arable land of the whole village is 0.64 mu, with more people and less land, and the contradiction between people and land is more prominent. There are 234 children in the village, accounting for 14.4% of the total population of the village. There are no villagers in the village. Most of the children in the village study in Hebazi Town Primary School and Hebazi Town Middle School. There are 410 elderly people in the village, accounting for 25.2 %, The problem of aging is prominent, and young people have a heavier burden to care for the elderly.
The village is a purely agricultural village, with two seasons a year, and its main production targets are traditional crops such as rapeseed, wheat, and rice. Mountain forests are dominated by economic forests such as Eucalyptus Grandis, with long product development cycles and slow results. The farming industry in the village is dominated by pigs and rabbits, of which there are about 6 large pig farmers and 15 large rabbit farmers. Most of the villages are scattered and scattered, and they are widely distributed. According to statistics, the per capita net income of the whole village in 2010 was about 3,000 yuan, and the income mainly came from migrant workers and planting and planting. Among the 516 households in the village, there are 406 low- and middle-income groups, accounting for 78.68% of the village. General poverty is the biggest problem facing Huangyingling Village. The main manifestations are: low per capita income of the whole village, which is the last in the township; poor population is common, and there are many low-income households (100 households), but it is difficult to achieve full coverage due to indicator restrictions (50 households); agricultural technology and production methods are backward s the village uses mainly traditional agriculture for rapeseed, wheat, and rice, with a small income the village has a large number of singles, about 30 households; and there are serious land disputes in the village.
2. Project objectives:
The project began in early June 2012.
The project will help 81 households (mainly poor households) in Huangyingling village, Hebazi town, Gingshen county, Siichuan province, especially the families of left-behind women. The implementation of the project will introduce superior sows, broilers and commercial rabbits to the village, combine with the unique mountain and forest resources of the village, and help poor families (especially left-behind women) to increase their incomes through the development of village-level breeding industry. At the same time, the establishment of farmer mutual aid organizations (mutual aid groups and cooperatives) can realize self-management, self-learning, self-education, and actively respond to market competition and challenges; In addition, through project training and capacity building, improve the ability of villagers to develop themselves and obtain social resources. In addition, the project will help another 81 poor farmers, out of a total of 162 families, through gift delivery over four years.
3. Project progress:
[1] a total of more than 260,000 yuan was provided to help 81 initial households purchase more than 60 sows, 693 breeding rabbits and 960 broiler chickens, so as to help farmers develop the breeding industry.
[2] two support groups were established, namely huang yingling group and Lao zhangjiashan group. To guide the establishment of "laozhangjiashan breeding cooperative", which is in operation;
[3] according to different breeding breeds (pigs, chickens and rabbits), technical services and technical training are regularly provided for the farmers of the project to help farmers improve and improve their breeding and management knowledge and skills;
[4] carry out training in 12 cornerstones, laws and regulations, environmental protection, disaster prevention (fire), group management, cooperative construction and marketing to improve the comprehensive capacity of farmers;
[5] carry out exchanges and visits, visit other excellent communities, and learn from the experience of community cooperation and the development of farmers' families; Conduct health assessment activities to improve the environment of families and communities; Organize community children to carry out "June 1" celebration activities to promote family love.
