Since its inception, TOMS has made a public pledge that for every new pair of TOMS shoes a consumer buys, the brand will give a new pair to a child in need, One for One. Over the course of 11 years, TOMS has grown its donor partners from orphanages in Central America to the world's largest international organization. Through professional cooperation with local organizations, we are truly committed to the interests of the recipient area and the recipients.
Ms. Song Qinyi, director of Shanghai Totrend Investment Group, once participated in the Shanghai Hui Heifer booth at the brand experience exhibition of Haihui Heifer and Toms (One for One® charity event), introducing visitors to Haihui Heifer project to answer visitors' questions. As early as 2008, TOMS has come to China with a charity shoe donation program to provide shoes for daily walks and school activities for children in remote areas in need of help. As of 2017, TOMS has provided more than 75 million pairs of new shoes for children worldwide, of which more than 915,000 pairs of new shoes have been delivered to Chinese children, covering Gansu, Guangdong, Guangxi, Guizhou, Hubei, and Inner Mongolia in China, Jiangxi, Ningxia, Qinghai, Shaanxi, Sichuan, and Yunnan. Through cooperation with the three donation partners of Stanford University Rural Education Program, World Vision China Chapter, and Youcheng Entrepreneur Poverty Alleviation Foundation, the shoe donation project in China has played an active role in the two fields of student aid and poverty alleviation and development.
Shanghai Totrend investment group is equally proud of this milestone, but also aware that the burden is still on our shoulders, which will drive us to devote more efforts, with actions and small ACTS of kindness, to actively help all groups in need, and continue to strive for a better life for more people.
